Round Sound, LLC ("Round Sound," "we") is an audio equipment repair, restoration and design shop in Nashville, Tennessee. This policy explains what we collect through roundsoundaudio.com and through repair and service work, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, and anything you write to us by email or through the site's contact forms.
- Repair and service records: the make, model and serial number of your equipment, the problem you describe, photos of the unit, our bench notes and measurements, parts used, quotes and invoices.
- Store orders: your name, shipping address and order details. Payments are handled by our payment processors; we never see or store your full card number.
- Website usage: our site runs on Wix, which uses cookies and collects basic analytics such as pages visited and browser type.
How we use it
- To diagnose, repair and return your equipment, and to keep you updated on its status.
- To send quotes and invoices and to take payment.
- To keep a service history, so we know what was done if the unit comes back.
- To answer your questions and fill your orders.
We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask to be on one.
Who we share it with
Only the services we use to run the shop, and only what each one needs:
- Wix: website, contact forms and online store.
- Google: email and the spreadsheets we track repairs in.
- Dropbox: storage for repair photos, notes and measurements.
- Wave: invoicing and payments.
- Shipping carriers: your name and address, when we ship something to you.
We will also share information if the law requires it. Otherwise, it stays with us.
Google user data
We use Google's services to track repairs and draft status emails. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
We keep repair records as a service history for as long as they are useful for servicing your equipment, and financial records as long as tax law requires. You can ask us to delete your records at any time, except those we must keep by law.
Your choices
Email us to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will respond promptly.
Security
Access to client records is limited to Round Sound. We use the security features of the services listed above, and we keep account keys and passwords off shared machines.
Children
This site and our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here and update the effective date.
